Binaural Beats Blog
The number 11:11 has always held special significance for me. When I was young I remember seeing this number on the clock and thinking there was something special about it. As an adult repeating numbers including 11.11 have taken on more meaning. I see these numbers as a communication from the universe letting me know that I am on the right track among other things.
The thought to do an 11.11 alpha binaural beat had surprisingly never entered my sphere of creation until now. I was excited to create the new audio and start experimenting with its effects.
I did a series of muscle testing to decide which carrier frequencies were the best to use for the 11.11hz binaural beat and came up with a base frequency of 122.44hHz. I created an audio with 122.44Hz in the left ear and 133.55Hz in the right ear playing for 30 minutes.
I first listened to the audio in late morning after I had been up for awhile, My first thought while listening to the audio was that the combination of frequencies were very pleasant to the ear and enjoyable to listen to. After what I would guess was around 5 minutes it seemed my creative mind really started to kick in as I began to have all kinds of things flooding my mind about how I could improve current projects.
At this point I began to ponder thoughts of reflection itself. I realized it was a sort of unique conscious practice to listen to a new binaural beat frequency with the intention of observing its effects in a way that I would later be able to relate in written form. It seemed the pondering turned itself into a paradoxical circle.
After this moment of awareness I tried to settle in with a less conscious mind to observe the effects of the audio. One of the biggest effects I noticed with a closed eye light spectrum effect that created different patterns in my “visual” perception. The patterns would circle like a ring and then enclose on themselves before doing the movement again and again. Sometimes the movement was downward and other times it was upward. At times the light patterns could create a tunnel pattern that reminded me of moving through a vortex.
One other notable effect was an extreme heavy weight like sand bags all throughout my legs into my feet. This feeling only grow more intense as the audio went on.
When the audio was finished I removed my headphones and felt extremely tired. (Feeling tired after listening to almost any binaural beat is common for me and not necessarily a usual side effect) I didn’t have any immediate obligations so I took the opportunity to fall asleep into a restful nap.
For the next experiment with 11.11Hz I decided to create an audio with several different carrier frequencies. Starting with the same carrier frequency I used before, the audio included a total of 7 different carrier frequencies played for 10 minutes each. You can learn more about what frequencies I used on the product download page.
I first listened to this audio in the evening before going to bed. I was fairly tired and didn’t make it much past the 2nd frequency before falling asleep. I awoke the next morning having crystal clear memory recall of dreams from the night. This was very unique as I typically do not dream at all. The day seemed be flow very smoothly and I noticed that I was accomplishing some mundane tasks I had been putting off.
I next listened to the audio during the day with the intent of making it through every frequency. This listening experience was more of a simple deep meditation experience. I found that as the audio continued my mind became more and more clear and quiet as I reached deeper states of meditation. It was a very blissful meditation.
I hope you enjoy the 11.11Hz Binaural Beats and my review of my experiences listening. I would love to hear back from you. Please share your experiences with this audio in the comments!
Love and Blessings,

What are the best headphones for Binaural Beats?
(This post contains affiliate links to purchase suggested headphones from amazon.com – please consider supporting Free Binaural Beats by purchasing your next pair of headphones from our affiliate links.)
A frequent questions asked is what headphones are best to use when listening to binaural beats. There is a common misconception that normal everyday headphones might not be able to play the ultra low frequencies of binaural beats. Most headphones are listed as having a low end frequency response of 15Hz. – 20Hz and the lowest frequencies perceivable to human hearing is between 20Hz – 30Hz. So just how is it possible to listen to a 3.5Hz delta binaural beat?
Binaural Beats are created by playing two separate audible (above 3Hhz) frequencies into each separate ear while wearing headphones. It is the difference between the two frequencies that create the binaural beat. For example a 3.5Hz binaural beat could play 100Hz in the left ear and 103.5Hz in the right ear. This difference of frequencies creates a “wub” or “beat” sound that is generated in the brain. The effect works sort of like a tuning fork to align your brain with the desired frequencies.
For this reason almost ANY pair of headphones or earbuds can be used effectively for binaural beats. Although it is not necessary to run out and buy the fanciest pair of headphones on the market, better quality headphones do have their advantages. Below I suggest some tried and true quality choices for high quality headphones to use for both binaural beats and every day listening. All reviews are of over-ear headphones as I find these to be much more comfortable for listening then earbuds.
The ATH-M50x has been my personal use headphones for the last 2 years. They offer incredible sound and comfort. I use these headphones for both producing audio and for listening to binaural beats and other music. The comfort of these headphones really stands apart from any other headphones I have tried in the past. This is important for listening to binaural beats, especially if trying to fall asleep with sleep audios. I have been able to fall asleep with these on several times, and typically I awake to find I have unconsciously removed them sometime during my slumber. Here are some specs from Amazon:

Before upgrading to Audio-Technica M50x headphones I use now, The Audio-Technica M20x was my go to set of headphones. In fact the only reason I upgraded was because I lost these ones! These headphones have great sound quality and are very comfortable and definitely my top choice for the $50 price point.
(I am no way affiliated with Audio-Technica, I simply have been happy with their products as a consumer)
Worth a Look
I have not personally tried these headphones and cannot give any direct feedback, however the Sony MDR7506 headphones have thousands of 5 star reviews on Amazon and are definitely worth a try. They also boast a low end frequency response of 10Hz which is lower then most headphones.
The Samson SR350 is another model I have not personal tried, but is highly reviewed on amazon. For the budget friendly price range under $20 they seem to be a good choice for comfort and sound quality.

Love Harmony Binaural Beats Review:
Base Frequency: 221.23Hz
Binaural Frequency: 10.5Hz
Free Binaural Beats is in the process of launching a new product line of “frequency crystals”. These crystals are hand selected by Yours Truly and treated with an isochronic sound bath to amplify their healing effects. The first crystal I am offering is a small rose quartz pyramid. I choose this specific frequency combination due to the associated effects of love and harmony. This frequency combination is available as a free download and are also the frequencies used to treat the rose quartz pyramid.
I had a good opportunity to work with both the frequency on several occasions as well as with the pyramid crystal. My initial observation after listening to the audio was that it seemed life as a whole was going more gently for me. I had experiences that felt like were direct results of the audio and crystal. It seemed to achieve harmony by ensuring my environment was one of harmony. If I were to be entering a situation where others were not in harmony with my vibration they would simply slip away from the scene without much notice.
The day of this writing I was asked by a friend to do healing for his friends dog “Patches” that was very sick. I am trained in reiki as well as other energy healing methods, however felt guided in this instance to let go of any pre conceived learnings and to simply let the energy of love guide the session. I then put on my headphones and began listening to the love harmony binaural beat. I was then guided to set the rose quartz pyramid as well as an amethyst pyramid on both sides of an image of the dog. I then placed my hands palms facing inwards towards the crystals and image.
I am someone who has explored several different alternative healing modalities and mostly have adapted to my own guidance. However “Feeling” the energy in my hands is something that I have never been very sensitive to. I have many friends who feel energy in their palms when doing reiki or working with crystals, however this has not been a common part of my experience.
This session for Patches was different then anything I have experienced before. For the first time ever I can say with confidence I felt very strong buzzing vibrations in my palms and fingertips while holding the intention of sending love and healing to Patches. I look forward to hearing an update on Patches from my friend.
Have a listen to the Love Harmony Binaural Beat for yourself and let me know your thoughts! We would love to hear your experiences. Let us know what you think of this audio in the comments below.
Welcome to the Binaural Beat reviews. My name is Eric, as some of you may know I am the creator of the Free Binaural Beats website and audios. When I first began this website and creating binaural beats I was eager to share all the positive benefits of this audio technology with everyone. I created several audio downloads in a short amount of time and after a short while burnt myself out on the process.
I have found a renewed passion for working with binaural beats and alternative healing therapies, and this time I am taking a new approach. I will be utilizing a more interactive approach with the newest audio releases.
A NEW FREQUENCY LIST
We have a Frequency List on our website that we shared from lunarsight.com that compiled a large list of frequencies and their associated effects. This list is largely used by myself and other binaural beat creators as a guide for creating binaural beats that target specific desired outcomes. After spending several years and countless sessions listening to binaural beats based on this frequency list, I feel very confident that the list is a very accurate guide and great place to start when working with frequencies.
That being said, I have always thought it would be a neat experiment to work on creating my own frequency list. The idea is that I will create new binaural beats and release them on the Free Binaural Beats website. I will experiment with this frequency through several sessions and create a blog post sharing my own experiences with that particular frequency. My hope is to be as open minded as possible and to simply report my personal experiences with the audios I create.
I look forward to sharing the new audios and experiences with you.
With love and gratitude,
